You arrive at the darkest place of the castle, at the darkest time of the night.  It's three o' clock, all is quiet, lonely and very, very dark.  You barely make out the contours of another staircase.  It stinks.  This wasn't your idea of an enjoyable evening, not even of an adventure to share with your friends at the pub.  Let's get out of here.
